Non-Chlorine Shock

If all of your water chemisty, including your free chlorine level, is in check, but you are still slight clarity issues, try a non-chlorine shock!
Now is the high time for swimming in the pool and pool parties, which can lead to a slightly cloudy condition for your pool. If your pool's water chemistry is all in the normal ranges, but your pool still seems to possess a cloudy apperance, try a non-chlorine shock treatment. A non-chlorine shock treatment is the same as the treatment of a chlorine shock, 1 bag per 10,000 gallons of pool water; however, a non-chlorine shock will not raise your chlorine level at all. What a non-chlorine shock will do for your pool is burn off all those residuals/inactive ingredients in your pool from body oils, body lotions, sun tan lotions, hair products, etc., that may be causing that cloudiness. A non-chlorine shock is great to use after a big pool party where there were a lot of people jumping in and out of the pool all day long (as long as the chlorine level is still ok of course) or can even be used as a weekly maintenance treatment just to keep your pool clear and "cloudy-free".
